MEMORY matters Dementia Café

 

We aim to: -               

  • Offer a regular service dedicated to those caring for and those living with dementia.
  • Foster an environment that channels social inclusion and promotes psychological well-being and information provision.
  • Enable members to engage with each other by providing activities that stimulate and entertain.
  • Deliver a recreational programme consisting of -

           Discussion
           Music
           Entertainment
           Exercise

  • Provide a place for professionals to offer support.

Venue:  Charnos Hall, Ilkeston Community Hospital, Heanor Road, Ilkeston, DE7 8LN

When:   The 1st and 3rd Wednesdays of each month.

Time:     Between 1:00 & 3:30 pm.

Entry:    Restricted to those living with Dementia and their supporters.

Cost:      £3.50 - Hot drinks and biscuits included.
